Go the distance for breast cancer research! This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, BCRF will host two free virtual fitness challenges on Facebook to raise funds for critical research. Join us as we come together as a community to get active.
Whether you’re walking, running, or cycling, these official BCRF challenges allow you to participate wherever you are and go at your own pace. To fuel research, participants are encouraged to start Facebook fundraisers for BCRF (with any goal) and to ask friends and family to support their challenges. This year, participants can now also create teams to take the challenge with friends, family, and coworkers.
With each step or mile you complete and every dollar you raise, you support science that is saving lives and improving outcomes for people impacted by breast cancer.
Are you a cycling enthusiast? Register for the 250 Mile Cycle Challenge to recognize the more than 250 breast cancer researchers BCRF supports. Cycling can be done outside or inside on a stationary bike. To get started, join the challenge Facebook group and find the “Start Your Challenge Here” post under Featured Discussions at the top.
BCRF’s 168,000 Step Challenge honors those impacted by breast cancer and the 168,000 people living with metastatic breast cancer who are counting on research breakthroughs. This challenge works out to be roughly 5,300 steps per day. To get started, join the challenge Facebook group and find the “Start Your Challenge Here” post under Featured Discussions at the top.
